PROPOSAL FOR

SCOPE OF WORK:

This project is for the blueprinting of the Order Fulfillment process of Mindanao
Container Corporation. The blueprinting shall cover the sequence of activities which
starts from the customer demand and ends with the customer acquiring the finished
product and which includes every activity in the fulfillment of the demand.

METHODOLOGY:

Documentation of the “As-Is” Process

A high level documentation of the current state shall be done to point out
redundancies/deficiencies that is addressed by the future state design and to help
management and others to understand the impact of moving to the future state.

Interview sessions shall be conducted to assigned resource persons and the


documented current state shall be validated by the process owner/project sponsor.

The key deliverables for this phase are as follows:


 “As-Is” Order Fulfillment Process blueprint
 Documented current business rules, policies and key performance indicators
 Identified process/system deficiencies

Documentation of the “To-Be” Process

To facilitate this phase, a high level chart shall be designed based on discussions during
the previous phase to be reviewed and deliberated during a scheduled meeting with the
process owner/ project sponsor.

The high level or Level 1 process blueprint shall only be drilled down to Level 2 once
agreed upon by everyone involved. A Level 2 drill down will be done on the selected
processes that changes are considered.

The key deliverables for this phase are as follows:


 Signed off “To-Be” Order Fulfillment Process blueprint
 Documented future business rules, policies and key performance indicators
 Change impact.

TIMETABLE OF DELIVERABLES:

Documentation of the “As-Is” process shall take about three weeks while the
documentation of the “To-Be” process shall take about four weeks.
COMMERCIAL TERMS:

Compensation for the entire project shall be fifty thousand pesos (Php50,000.00) net
with the following assumptions:
 A minimum of two (2) days a week plant visit to gather data from resource
persons and/or present documents for validation and approval. The particular
amount of time may vary from day to day or week to week but shall in no case be
less than four (4) hours a visit. An advanced notice shall be given for any change
in schedule of visit.
 Provision of a service vehicle from Bulua Terminal to MCC Plant and vice versa,
 Provision of free meals,
 Availability of resource persons or validating/approving officers on scheduled
visits,
 Access to MCC documents,
 Provision of a computer, office supplies and work space while working at the
MCC plant premises.

PAYMENT TERM:

An initial amount of ten thousand pesos (Php10,000.00) shall be required at the start of
the project. Twenty thousand pesos (Php20,000.00) shall be required upon completion
of the “As-Is” process documentation and the remaining twenty thousand pesos
(Php20,000.00) balance shall be required upon completion of the “To-Be” process.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

Any information pertaining to operation, customer, financial, personnel or in relation to


the business that are gathered in the course of the project shall be considered
confidential and shall not be revealed to any party outside of MCC.
