respondents, who we have been asked about the information needed to do a research, from all of
students of PGRA and PBA majors (22 students from PBA and 3 students from PGRA major).

FINDINGS

Because there are many answers we have received, we have separated which answers they choose
the most from many headings:

- English learned in the campus

this heading is intended in order to find out what lessons have been learned in the campus.
From 25 respondents, mostly the answers are vocab around 10 people, 8 grammar, 4 vocab
and grammar, and 3 others.

- Interest in learning English

We also ask something about their interest in learning English. I am very surprised, most of
them are very interested in learning English even though they are from the Arabic and
PIAUD department. a few respondents are not interested and the others are quite
interested. In detail from 25 respondent,

- Everyday vocabularies
In vocabulary, mostly non-English students used common word, and and most of the
vocabulary they use is caused by listening to English songs and watching movies and most of
the vocabulary which they use is caused by listening to English songs and watching movies .
But nowdays JAKSEL, The phenomenon of using Indonesian is mixed with English vocabulary,
besomes so popular, in linguistics this is known as code mixing. Because of that they will
memorize the vocabularies.

- English media used in the class

At present, there are many media which people can use to help them in learning something,
such as a dictionary book or online, google, and etc. in our interview,

- Their own way to learn vocabularies

as we know, each person has a different nature and character. so their way of learning also
does. students have a variety of ways to learn, there are common ways which people
usually do until unique ways which will make us shocked or even amazed. In our report,

- The memorizing metode by they own way

As I mentioned before, people have different ways of doing things. From 25 respondents,

- Easy way in learning vocabularies

In learning English, we will find a level in learning vocabularies. It is a easy, medium or even
high level.

- Use of English or vocabularies outside the educational context

This heading is very interesting, because we want to know, do they practice or use English
out of class.

- Problem in learning vocabularies

when we want to learn something, of course there are problems that we will find, So does in
learning English.
