ACTIVITIES
i. PRE-LESSON : PRE-LESSON TASK 2: GUESS THE ANSWER
ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT : 1. Organise pupils into groups.
2. Distribute quiz booklets to groups.
3. Pupils read the questions and discuss the answers in groups.
4. The first time they do it without looking back through the unit.
5. Groups check their work with other groups.
6. Pupils then look back to check questions they did not know.
7. Check answers with the class.
8. Pupils work in pairs.
9. Distribute picture dictionary templates and word strips.
10. In pairs, pupils take turns to point to one of the pictures, say the word
and what they can do there.
11. Then, pupils paste the matching word strip under the picture.
12. Monitor and help as and when necessary.
13. Reading screening.
