Statement of perpouse: Diploma in computing Level 8

In today’s modern world computers are an essential part of everyday life.

Computer has grabbed each and every table in workplace. Around the globe
the computer age is encouraging everyone to use computer from a very young
age. In my opinion, a person who use computer daily are actually developing
critical skills and preparing for future success.

I belong to a educated family. My father is a retired school teacher and mother

is a homemaker. My brother and sisters are working in govt. jobs. I got married
in February 2013. After setting in my new married life I would like to restart my
carrier again which put on hold due to my newly married life. But after my
marriage I blessed with a baby girl and my father-in –law also had some serious
health issues. Family comes first so I have to gave time to my child and my
father. My father-in-law has expired in august 2015 and my daughter is a
grown up child now. Now, fortunately I found a very carrier oriented husband
who has encouraged me to take up a carrier which is obviously a IT
professional.

As far as my educational qualification is concerned. I have completed Bachelor

of Arts with Mathematics from Himachal Pradesh University with 56% marks
and a degree in Bachelor of education from Himachal Pradesh University with
57% marks . My two major interest and passion are computer and
mathematics, and I believe that there is creative fusion between these
disciplines. So I completed a master degree in mathematics from Himachal
Pradesh University with 52% marks. My interest over electronic gadgets ,
anticipate new things brought me closer to the computer . In the year 2010 I
joined Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from Himachal Pradesh
University where I studied Operating System, Data structure, C,C++, Date base
management system , Introduction to E commerce ,Computer networking &
Internet.
When I was persuing this course I realized that it is the networking field which
brings confidence in me. I completed this course with 76.64% marks in first
division. I particularly found it more interesting when technology is in the
form of entertaining and advertising. I have a healthy interest with world wide
web, multimedia technology and design cater for this. Now I realized the
importance of having further qualification in life and to go for further studies
but this time I want to study internationally and wanted to go at truly
multicultural society which offers appealing growth to international students
and should offer the latest emerging technologies of the world.

I came to know about UNITEC from one of my friend who is studying in

Auckland, New Zealand. Further, the people at Indopacific education Services,
New Delhi guided me about this course according to my interest. After lot of
research I found the level -8 course POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING
at UNITEC most appropriate to my carrier goals. I choose New Zealand
because it has international reputation in providing quality education .
Universities of New Zealand offers various opportunities in the field of
technologies which is helpful to build secure future.

I am hardworking, responsible, ambitious, enthusiastic but most of all friendly.

I think I will be the credit to the institution . If I am given opportunity I am
ready to share my experiences and learn from others.
