should be prioritize since this problem will fall under the need for
comfort. This is first to prioritize since Pain is a discomforts
associated with actual and potential tissue damage which can lead
to complications if not address, also you can further diagnose what
are the other existing disease of the patient. Pain increase vital
signs such as heart rate and blood pressure, modify the mood that
can also cause stress and even anxiety that may cause further
problems to the patient.
2 According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, Physiologic needs
should be prioritize since there is inflammation of the eustachian
tube causing accumulation of secretions in the middle ear and
negative pressure from lack of ventilation. For this to stop
immediately and not to further complications we need to
address it immediately.
Risk for infection 4 This is 4th prioritized because problem is not present. The client
has a tendency to develop infection if it was not prevented and
may trigger other complication to arise. Infection is one of the
physiologic that needs to be address because of vulnerable to
invasion and multiplication of pathogenic organisms which may
further compromise health. Infection will cause more pain to the
patient. Early solution to this will prevent the patient from
experiencing fever, pain and further complications.
Imbalance 3 According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, physiologic needs
nutrition: less should be prioritize since this problem will fall under the need for
than body food. This is 3rd to be prioritize since adequate nutrition is essential
requirements to meet the body’s demands to increase immune function and fight
off diseases which further compromise health of the client. This
will help to decrease the chance to acquire further complications
of the disease.
