Students

Teagan- Teagan is a very talkative person! Whenever the teacher asks anything, Teagan is
always the first one to say something. She can also be very manipulative to her teachers to try
and get out of work.

Lanea- Lanea is from Guatemala and is very soft spoken but is very smart. She doesn’t usually
initiate conversations with her peers, but if they talk to her, then she will talk back to them.

Mason- Mason has to be separated from Teagan at all times or else they will just talk and not get
anything done. He has a hard time staying focused while doing his work and has to be redirected
quite often.

Grayson- Grayson is on the very high end of the class. He is very smart and can read at a 3rd-
grade reading level. He is also very smart when it comes to math and he tries to help his peers
solve math problems when he is struggling. However, he can be very sensitive and not want to
do anything.

Grant- Grant is a very hard worker and gets all his work done in a timely manner. He is in the
high group of reading and can read at a 2nd- grade reading level.

Cal- Cal has a hard time focusing and zones out a lot. He has to be redirected all the time.

Theo- Theo is in the low end of the students in the class. He is in the lowest reading and math
group. He has a difficult time with sight words and sounding them out. He also has a hard time
doing his own work; his eyes wander to other students’ paper so he doesn’t complete stuff on his
own.

Marley- Marley is in the highest reading group. She is very quiet, but she is a hard worker.

Brooklyn- Brooklyn is a very hard worker. She is one of the quieter students, but she is attentive
and stays on task.

Cael- Cael is a very hard worker and he is also in the highest reading group.

Taryn- Taryn is in the low end of the students in the class. She needs to be helped with math all
the time. She can also get very emotional and not finish her work.

Cole- Cole is in the lowest reading group and has difficulty with sight words and sounding out
words. He has a hard time focusing and won’t complete his assignments unless a teacher is there
with him doing every step with him.
Emmie- Emmie likes to talk with whoever is around her and has a hard time focusing. When
they are doing independent work, she needs to be placed at the end of the table so that she can
complete her work without being distracted by other students.

Kirsten- Kirsten has been diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). She is very
stubborn and wants to do activities her way. She will frequently say “no” and pout when asked
to do a task that she doesn’t want to complete. She attaches to boys in the class and becomes
clingy and possessive of them. As a result, Mrs. Castillow doesn’t want her to sit next to certain
boys in the class.

Gage- Gage is autistic and has an IEP and has a para-educator who stays with him throughout the
entire day. The para tends to do work for him, even when he asks if he can do assignments on
his own.

Avery- Avery is another very talkative student. She likes to talk to both teachers and other
students in order to avoid getting her work done. As a result, her math and reading skills are
low.

Charlie- Charlie is in the higher reading group. During math he gets easily distracted and needs
to be kept on track while doing assignments. He is sensitive and tends to get his feelings hurt
easily.
