Science and wisdom , there are most appreciated aspects of human life which make

human different from other creatures on earth. Human by its nature is acquiring
knowledge through experiance, experiment, observation and learning. And this
acquired knowledge helped him to become more scientific in his thinking and
approach. And with this acquiring knowledge, human also want to bring order in
his life making it more organised . For this purpose, human applies acquired
knowledge in practical way. And this practical use of this knowledge can be called
Wisdom -designed to organize human life in disordered world.

There is a fascinating two-part sentence about science and wisdom that is

attributed to the 18th century philosopher Immanuel Kant:Science is organized
knowledge. Wisdom is organized life.

Immanuel Kant was a German, and he probably didn't write or speak a sentence in
German that corresponded to the English which I said. It's believed that the first
part of the sentence was crafted by the philosopher Herbert Spencer. And the
second part was constructed by historian Will Durant while he was trying to
explain the phisolophical thoughts of Kant. Durant also combined the two parts.
Kant died in 1804, and the earliest evidence of the first sentence was published
in an essay titled “The Art of Education” by Spencer in May 1854 which say:
„Science is organized knowledge; and before knowledge can be organized,
some of it must first be possessed. Every study, therefore, should have a purely
experimental introduction; and only after an ample fund of observations has
been accumulated, should reasoning begin.”
That means that knowledge firstly have to be accumulated, and then organise and
use.
In 1924 the historian Will Durant published his work titled “The Story of
Philosophy” which included a section called “Kant and German Idealism”.
Durant explained Kant’s philosophical position. He wrote:
„Sensation is unorganized stimulus, perception is organized sensation,
conception is organized perception, science is organized knowledge, wisdom is
organized life: each is a greater degree of order, and sequence, and unity.
Whence this order, this sequence, this unity? Not from the things themselves;
for they are known to us only by sensations that come through a thousand
channels at once in disorderly multitude; it is our purpose that put order and
sequence and unity upon this importunate lawlessness.”This passage reflected
Durant’s conception of Kant’s ideas

After these philosophical explanations of Kant's sentence, his full sentence appeard
a lot of time in newspapers, sometimes in different way. For example:

In 1955 a newspaper in Lubbock, Texas printed an excerpt from a letter

written by a Texas sculptor named Raoul Jossett.” If wisdom is organized life
and science organized knowledge, art is organized beauty.”
From stone age till today, scientific knowledge of human is increasing with time. Our
ancestors has acquired knowledge of natural laws like weather phenomena, physics
and chemistry of fire,It is the knowledge and wisdom of our ancentors that human
have acquired power to influence nature .Wisdom is necessary to give human
aspect of that knowledge, compassion and empathy are necessary for use of that
knowledge in humanistic manner. A wise mind will use fire to cook food, while
an unwise mind can put a house on fire. Science and wisdom are important for
world. Without science this world will become stagnated in terms of knowledge.
and without wisdom , that knowledge won't be fruitful for man. science provides
answers to existing worlds problems.wisdom ensures effectiveness for these
solutions. in present world, science and wisdom are two wheels of same vehicle. It is
hardly possible to sovle existing world problems without scientific knowledge , but
application of that scientifc knowledge depends upon the wisdom of humans.
