Argumentative Essay
What age suitable to become entrepreneurship
According to the research of the MIT Sloan School of Management study, the US Census Bureau
and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) found a relationship between age and maturity in becoming
entrepreneurs after researching 2.7 million pilot companies from 2007 – 2014. According to data,
entrepreneurs who start business at the age of 20 is less than 1% of the sample.
Still from the result of the same study, starting a business can start at any age. However, age will
affect the level of maturity, experiences and maturity of ideas to bring progress to the company. The more
mature, business founders are certainly smarter in business, trend science industry and certainly
solve the problem thanks to their experience. At the age of 35, entrepreneurs are ready to build a
business. They are also ready to expand the industry, build networks and find employees. They are
also ready to establish connections with marketers and suppliers of manufactured goods.
A lot of people think that there is never an age that is too young or too old to start a
business. Colonel Sanders started a fried chicken business when he retired as a soldier at the age
of 60. Many people laugh at him at that time. But he is still convinced of what he is doing, and
finally proven, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is one of the favorite restaurants for people in
various parts of the world. Despite the fact that starting business at the age of maturity has more
advantages, starting a business at the young age is not that bad. Young entrepreneurs has more
spirit and knowledge of the business, they love to explore something new, young entrepreneur tend
to be risk taker than risk averse. Even when they face failure, they will recover faster than the old
ones.
Came to the conclusion, starting business has it’s positive or negative at any ages.
Regardless of the age, establishing company will become easier when you work harder than the
others. Do not chase success but chase perfection to your company, then success will follow you.
