A few important announcements about Science Camp.

Medication Information

 If your child is taking medication of any kind to camp, it must be documented on the
official forms (yellow or pink). These forms should be turned in to your child’s teacher
by May 3rd . Medication can be brought to school on the day of departure in a ziplock
bag with your child’s name clearly written on the front. Give to Mrs. Reeves or Mrs.
DeMatteo to transport to camp. DO NOT pack in luggage.

Day of Departure: Monday, May 6th

 Please be at school between 8-8:15 am

 Each camper can bring 2 pieces of luggage: Suitcase & sleeping bag. Please see the
“what to bring to camp” packing list that was handed out.
 Students will get their luggage tags from their teacher morning of departure.
 Bus should be here between 9-9:15. Parents are welcome to stay to see the students off.
 Please wear your science camp t-shirt on Monday.
 Bring a sack lunch to eat at the park. This should be the only food you bring. Make
sure it is all disposable.
 If you have letters for your child, clearly mark them and give to Mrs. DeMatteo or Mrs.
Reeves day of departure. Please only 1 envelope per day Tuesday, Wednesday, &
Thursday.

Day of arrival back at school: Friday, May 10th

 The school will notify you via phone message with the estimated arrival time. Usually
we arrive back at school between 2:00-3:00 depending on the traffic.
