• Many private schools are starting to incorporate PBIS into their schools
• Focus on the positive than negative
• What if we took students to the principal for something positive instead of always for
negative.
• My students are motivated by Dojo Points and they don’t get anything for them…but
you could always give them something for reaching different points.

use already for personal use.

Can post reminders, things students are learning, pictures from field trips or class
parties

• Only kindergarten could communicate with our parents to update and let
them know they could pick up early
• Here is an example of what I posted to my parents during one power outages

• There is also a way to do a School Story that administrators are in charge for posting
school-wide.

• Parents actually would rather have technology communication as opposed to other
• Easier than writing notes since many of us do not see parents because they
pick up in after-school care
