Painted toys are built from MDF or fine-grained hardwoods for the smoothest finish. Finish is
spray can Rust-Oleum or Krylon white primer and color glosses. Krylon brush-on Color Creations
also works well. With both types of paint, apply 2 coats of primer sanding each coat with 220
sandpaper when dry. Apply 3 coats of color sanding with 400 sandpaper when dry. Apply final coat
of Krylon Triple Thick Clear. All Krylon paints and finishes are non-toxic when dry.
