LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my understanding that Wilson Harvey will be applying for a position within your school system, and it is
with great confidence that I recommend him for any such position for which he applies. Mr. Harvey was my student
teacher and I worked directly with him in a school setting for nearly two months. As a result of this experience, I can
assure you that he is one of the most intelligent, dedicated, and professional future educators that I have ever met. I know
Wilson to be a friendly, patient, honest, prompt, and enthusiastic individual who would be able to use these traits to his
advantage in the classroom.

I have no doubt that Mr. Harvey’s teaching would be of the highest quality. He would be able to utilize his
extensive knowledge of social studies and secondary education in order to create and foster a positive and exciting
learning environment in which all students, regardless of learning style, would be able to thrive. Wilson is knowledgeable
of a wide variety of instructional strategies that encourage students to have fun and learn at the same time.

While completing his undergraduate program at West Virginia Wesleyan College, Wilson has spent many hours
in Upshur County schools as part of his degree requirements. I truly understand how this experience prepares you to be a
great teacher. These teaching opportunities have sharpened Wilson’s behavior management skills and have more than
prepared him to have his own classroom. He is able to quickly establish control in the classroom on a daily basis while
still creating a caring environment for his students. He would quickly gain the respect of all students and fellow teachers.

Wilson would be an excellent addition to any school faculty, and I hope you give his application the attention that
