1.0 SCOPE
Dewatering of the Storm water with Suitable pump from excavated ditch and same to
be discharged into existing drain channel.

2.0 APPLICATION:
Electrical Dewatering Pump will be used with all other accessories to discharge
storm water from excavated ditch into existing channel

3.0 WATER ACCUMULATION:

As Per Hydraulic study for the Achampet site the Water Accumulation for
the South side plot is 7000 lit/ Hr , accordingly ditch is excavated for
water accumulation in the ditch to lift water from particular point.

4.0 PUMP DATA AND SHEET:

As per Accumulation of the water in the ditch and calculation of the Head
and Horizontal distance the Suitable pump to be finalised

How to Calculate Head:

1. Depth of the ditch from FGL : 3.5m

2. Horizontal Length from FGL to Protection Bund : 25.0m
For 10m Horizontal Length = 1 m vertical head =25.0/10
= 2.5
3. Protection Bund Head : 2.0m

Total Head = 1+2+3 = 8.0m

8.0 m head required 8 Hp pump with 7000 lit/hr discharge.
