1. I only speak english, but I do know being bilingual can help improve and
break communication barriers.
2. Communication is a form of language or a way we communicate with each
other. It is important in the healthcare field, because communication is the
way patient information is conveyed from the health provider to the
individual.
3. Relate - language and communication both are ways people communicate “talk”
to and with each other.
● Difference- both can be portrayed or received in different ways. Both
language, and communication can have different meanings.
4. My leadership style is servant leadership. I determined my style by leadership
theory tests, and also my values and characteristics aline with what is a servant
leader.
5. Leaders lead others in a influential, positive, and a purposeful way. Leaders
inspire others to lead. Managers manage over others. They are forced, or often
times manage people because it comes along with their job description.
7. My personal leadership quote is “Leaders help others to grow. Guiding others in
the right direction encouraging them, to find power. Which leads to growing into a
leader.”
8. Verbal and written communication, body language, visual aids, and even the
environment are all forms of communication styles.
9. My personal code of ethics are respect others, build relationships with others,
being honest, hard working, dependable, well rounded, being humble, and being
fair to others.

A. How can we improve our ability to increase quality, maintain the privacy of
data, decrease costs, and advance patient safety through health information
technology?
● (Patient Safety) Follow step by step care instructions which can increase
patient care outcomes.
● (Data) Use strict safety measures in databases when maintaining privacy
information, also besides technological support employees should be
discreet “or in other words not talk about other patients” in front of others or
workers.
● (Cost) Limit or cut down on medical errors can be one step to cut down cost
in healthcare. The misuse of medicine instead of looking for chemically
produced care, look for methods to treat patients naturally.
● (Quality) Take time to look over, and make sure all patients are receiving
good effective quality care. Limiting the chances of errors to occur when
patients are in the care of the employee’s hands.
