Dear Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well. As my class segues into the more hands-on portion of
incorporating technology, it is important for us both to talk to the students about the
importance of being private and conscious online-both at school and at home. Attached to this
letter is an infographic I have created that introduces the topic of your child chatting online,
shares some statistics about common preteen/teen cyber usage, and some tips for you, the
guardian, on how to approach your student’s presence online. I hope that the infographic’s
information reaches the students adequately, so that they can learn and have fun online while
also being safe.
