Project on PERSONAL IDENTITY
MANAGEMENT

Introduction:

Personal Identity Management is maintaining identity of each person of a country or an

organization for security purpose. It is mainly design for an organization to give an individual
identity of each employee and maintain a personal data vault.

About The System:

This system is a standalone product that aggregates identity records of an individual and
creates a secure file that can be used by the individual and authorized people only. Something
like personal data vault.

Today’s world is suffering from terrorist activity everywhere and none of us are secure.
There are many fraud people who can cheat us and our organization every moment. To
protect us from these unexpected activities and give security to our nation and organization
we need to maintain an Identity for each of us. The aim of this project is to maintain an
Identity of each person of an organization.

The front end of this project should be written in java. Good hashing and Encryption
technology should be used to protect the information. AJAX, J2EE should be used here in the
user interface.

In the back end a data base should be maintain and it should be written in DB2. This project
should be support for IE, NN, Mozilla-Firefox.

Functionality of the software:

1. Data Capturing.
- How Data will be entered and saved in DB
- How many fields will be there to capture the data
- How many fields will be mandatory to Identify the Person
(First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Place of birth, Mother's maiden Name)
- Compulsory / Required fields to capture data.
- Generated Data Fields
2. Authentication
- Who can log in
Authorization
-Who can see what
- Create access
- Edit Access
- View Access
- No Access

3. Data Searching
- Type of Searching - By First name, By Last Name, by DoB. by personID.
4. Data Presentation
- Search Result
- How many columns will be there
- How to Access a particular record. (by clicking, by selecting and press some button)

 Processor Intel Pentium class, 600 megahertz (MHz) or Higher

 RAM 256 MB or higher

 Monitor VGA or Super VGA

 Operating System : Windows XP Advanced Server Or, Linux
