 Stage 1: Going on a trip (1st week)
Go to unit 1.4. Going on a trip in the Knowledge environment and develop
the following activities:

a. Post the indicated activities (pronunciation and Writing) from the unit in the forum.
WRITING PART
Hi Mum,
John and I are having a wonderful time here in Ireland. Every day we got up early and go for a long
walk in the country. When we returned we usually had a very big Irish breakfast which normally
consists of two eggs, three slices of bacon, toast and jam.
We usually ordered a cup of coffee after breakfast: Colombian coffe, of course.
After breakfast we sometimes went swimming in the river. We often met children who like to swim
there. They are very nice. At night we nearly always drank a few pints of Guinness in the pubes bar
before we went to bed. We always slept well after that, I can assure you.
b. Write a short note in the forum telling what you did last vacation/holidays/weekend.
As for me, I spent a week in San Andres. I took the plane in Bogota and flew for two
hours. There was a woman waiting to take us to the hotel.
We arrive in the afternoon at the hotel, which is very close to the sea. How
wonderful it is to have meals almost on the beach, listen to the waves and watch the
sunset at night. We could have a glass and then go to the beach and as soon as we are
thirsty we return to the bar and have another drink before swimming a bit, it was
very comfortable, and I loved it.
As for the site, it was very beautiful. The beach was in front of us and on the right
side, we had a view of the mountains, the water was like a warm bath. I have never
met such kind people. I advise you to go there; really, you will come back with so
many memories in your mind

Problem 2: What should people do when it is sunny?

Solution: when there much sun, it is recommended that people use sunscreen

Problem 3: What should you do when it is windy?

Solution: it is recommended that you to close door and windows

Problem 4: What should city officials do when a hurricane is coming?

Solution: it is important that the city officials carry out prevention measures

Problem 5: What should we do when there is a blizzard?

Solution: It is necessary that we not go outside

Problem 6: What should schools do when it is extremely warm?

Solution: it is necessary that schools have air conditioning

Problem 7: What should they do when it is cold?

Solution: When it is cold, it is recommended that they wear warm clothes.

The weather in Santa andres presents three types of seasons. When it is summer, it is
usually warm and sunny, but when it is winter, it is cloudy and breeze.

4. People should not carry unnecessary items

5. People should not carry drugs or alcohol

6. If you are going to travel abroad you must do the necessary documents

People should not eat food at the beach
People must not swim very deep in the sea
People shouldn’t wear warm clothes in Santa Andres
