Racism and Its factors

Definition Of Racism.
Racism is based on chauvinism of one race, ethnic
group or nationality over another.
Racism include all the hindrances that prevent
people from enjoying dignity and equality because
of their race.
Factors that influence people to involve in racism.

1) Social factors.
(a) Competition among classes: This type
of racism emerges when people involve in
class differences.
 Eg; Bourgeoisie and proletariat class
differences.
(b) Fear of losing dominancy: This type of
racism occurs when dominant people take
much care about society. They feel threat
towards their dominancy so they do not want
any other to rise.
Eg; Rohingyas in Rakhine state of Myanmar.
(usually based on minorities).
2) Psychological factors.
(a) Stereotype formation: This type of
racism emerges when people face certain
events and start forming views and
generalizing people on the basis of few
individuals.
Eg; 9/11 attack: All the muslims are terrorist.
(b) Identity protection: In this type of
racism people try not to rise the other group.
Eg; It is believed that blacks are less intelligent
and their IQ level is low.
Eg; glass ceiling.
3) Religious factors.
(a) Religious teachings: some people exploit
their religious teachings and make
amendments in their holy books according to
their need and as result this type of racism is
formed.
Eg: it is believed by the followers of bible that
it was and it is god’s will for the races to be
separate and for the black people to be slaves
of white. According to them black are cursed
by God as when one son of adam killed other
God punished him by turning him as black.
While we know there is nothing like that as
bible was revealed upon Jesus by Allah and
Allah has made everyone equal.superiority
just is made on the basis of piety this is just
what changes Jews have made according to
their desires.
Another example is ‘Arab’ and ‘ajam’ based
differences that were created.
4)Biological factors.
(a) Genes transformation: people get some
habits as well as inclination towards
something by transformation of genes from
parents to offspring.

of racism.

1. Currently Donald trump is in highlights due

to racism he made. Trump’s real-estate
company tried to avoid renting apartments
to African - americans in 1970’s and get
preferential treatment to whites.
Trump treated black employees differently
at his casinos then whites, quoted by
 multiple resources. Example is trump
showed feeling of hatred towards his black
accountant that black man counting my
money? I hate it! And said that boy seems
lazy and credited his laziness not as his fault
but because blacks are lazy and dumb
(according) to him.

2. Hazaras in Pakistan are facing racism on the

basis of minority and shea sect. they are being
dominated by Sunni majority and being forced
by them Sunni to follow their sect.

3. Mahsud tribe is also affected by racism. Hakim

ullah mahsud who was the member of tehreek-
e-taliban in Pakistan got caught and killed. But
he created obstacles for his talented fellows of
tribe. Wherever people in power see them
wandering they kill them. Recently naqeeb-
ullah-mahsud was targeted by Karachi police
commissioner. This man was just killed because
of his affiliation with that tribe while he was
merely a model.

Reduction of racism.
1) By following religious teachings without
making any changes in it.
2)By Portraying tolerant behavior as widely
accepted.
3)By making friends from different backgrounds
and teaching others to do so.
4)Powerful should use their status to spread the
message.
5)By speaking against racism.
6)By making smooth political decisions. (For
example: considering while taking decisions
like an Ahmadi cannot be Pakistan’s economic
advisor, women cannot be president).
