8 minutes: First, explain why it is useful to

picture is worth a thousand words." Using it to
explain why data visualisation is important. Then, Listen to teacher’s presentation
lecture on visualising categorical data using bar,
pie, pareto charts for single categorical variable
and side by side bar chart and doughnut chart for
2 or more categorical variables
7 minutes Class examples to illustrate the charts.
The students will be asked to try the problems Work out the Sample problems: Practice to learn
first. Then we treat the problems together. (PTL). Complete task and discuss findings

8 minutes lecture on visualising numerical data

using ordered array, histogram, polygon and ogive Listen to teacher’s presentation
7 minutes Class example to illustrate the
concepts. The students will be asked to try the Work out the Sample problems: Practice to learn
problems first. Then we treat the problem (PTL). Complete task and discuss findings
together.
15 minutes: Class Quizzes on visualising Data:
