Prayer for New Year

By Georgy ------ 2175 views

Prayer for New Year:-

The new year,
like a new born child,
is placed in our hands as the old year passes away.
The days and weeks to come are God’s gift;
they carry God’s blessing.
As a blessing we welcome them.
Our hope for the year ending is that
all that was good in it remain with us and
all that was harmful be left behind.

Bless us, O Lord,

and bless the time and seasons yet to come.
Teach us to number our days aright,
that we may gain wisdom of heart.
And fill this new year with your kindness,
that we may be glad and rejoice
all the days of our life.
Happy New Year 2010

There’s a funny story about two buckets that used to draw water from a well.

One bucket would go down to the well murmuring, “Oh, here I go again! I hate this
job. I am afraid of going into this deep well; what if I fall off this rope! Carrying the
water up from the well is a tough job. No one understands what I am going through
inside this well. Everyone loves to drink the water I carry, but no one loves me!!”

But the other bucket had a different confession to make. Every time it goes down the
well, it screams, “Wow! Here I go! I love going down. I delight fetching water up for
those waiting out there. I enjoy watching people drinking water and quenching their
thirst. I love this job!”

Like this story, there are two ways to walk into the New Year 2010. One is to enter in
with your old baggage loaded with thoughts of anxiety and pain from the previous
year. Or you could walk in with a new bag full of hope and expectation, trusting in
the Lord of the ages and His promises.

Media may predict that world’s problems would intensify in 2010. But a person who
follows Jesus Christ has a different statement to make, “I arise and shine because
my Lord reigns over all!”

Every year is a fresh start that the Lord gives you. And His desire for you is to
experience glorious living! That’s what Ephesians 1:11-12 (The Message Bible) says,
“Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us,
had designs on us for glorious living…”

God has designed us to be victorious and productive in spirit, soul and body. We are
designed to enjoy and live in spiritual, material, emotional, physical and relational
abundance.
Lack of any sort isn’t God’s will for His people. That’s why David boldly proclaimed in
Psalm 23:1 (Amplified Bible), “The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield
me], I shall not lack.”

In this New Year, as you rise up every day, proclaim this verse and rejoice in faith
for the Lord meeting all your needs with His abundant resources. Boldly proclaim
that you are no more a loser, a complainer, and a quitter but an overcomer,
believer, and a winner.

2010 is your year for living in the breakthrough. It is your year for the manifestation
of all that God has promised you in the past.

This is not at all your time to worry. This is your time to bury your worries, stand up
and walk in the manifestation of His Word and its abundant blessings.

TBTG joyfully wish you an extraordinary New Year with Christ Jesus.

bye to all those and welcome the New year with great hope and some good new year
resolutions. Lets take some time to pray the year ending prayer before we
Year Ending Prayer:-

Father, I just want to Thank You for the Year 2008! What a year!
It was a very long year with each day bringing something new something unknown;
yet you sustained us.
Teach us to draw closer to You, to find out what Your perfect will is for our lives.
Teach us and show us step by step how You want Your agenda
to flow using us as messengers and instruments.
Teach us humility and give us the ability to forgive and to love purposefully.
Strengthen our hearts with compassion and unselfishness.
Allow us to grow spiritually.
Show us how to be quick to repent continually and teach us that we are not perfect.
Thank You for the continual demonstration of Your Love!

Show us how there are many ways and not just our way as individuals
interlocked in friendships, relationships and partnerships.
Give us an allowance and understanding
so that we may enter into Your rest consistently and continually.
Teach us diligence so that we know it oh so well.
Father we have seen remnants of all of these things and
we are ever thankful and please allow us to move to new levels of knowledge,
wisdom, understanding and revelations.
Thank You for forgiveness. We thank You for corrections and peace in this.

For those who have had it tough we send ministering angels

out before them to prosper their way.
We pray Blessings over all of Your children and
we pray for enlightenment and not deception in this earth.
Thank You that our hearts are not faint and that our strength is renewed!
Thank You Father for keeping us focused and Kingdom minded.

It is our prayer that every believer begins to see that

we are all pieces of the same pie
and that we all will begin to exhort one another
and to seek wisdom on what we can learn from one another.
We pray that the Body of Christ will receive the Comforter that Jesus left for them
and all spiritual gifts that you have for them
plus a greater knowledge of The Power of The Blood of Jesus.

In Jesus Name We Pray. AMEN!

This coming year, Let us …

Give up complaining . . . focus on gratitude.

Give up harsh judgments . . . think kind thoughts.

Give up worry . . . trust divine providence.

Give up discouragement . . . be full of hope.

Give up bitterness . . . turn to forgiveness.

Give up hatred . . . return good for evil.

Give up anger . . . practice patience.

Give up pettiness . . . put on maturity.

Give up gloom. . . enjoy the beauty that is around me.

Give up gossiping . . . control my tongue.

For some people resolutions are like eels – easy to catch but difficult to
hang on to.

But let us be steadfast in our resolutions.

Poem : The Onion
By Georgy ------ 3416 views

I was an onion before Christ set me free.

Layers upon layers of iniquity.
An ugly old onion whose fragrance was strong;
That my Jesus bought and loved all along.

Unknown to me what He was going to do.

Of what He was planning, I had not a clue.
Pulling each layer off one by one.
In order to make me more like Jesus the Son.

The first layer wasn’t so bad.

I saw all the sins that I knew I had.
They were easy to fix, just change the way I talk.
And learn more of how He wanted me to walk.

Reading His Word, and learning again;

How to put aside my life of sin.
But the next layer was pulled which hurt more.
He was getting closer to the core.

Unknown what He would find there.

I simply gave it to Him in prayer.
As another layer was removed, He started to cry;
Pulling this layer brought pain to my Father on High.

And I was crying over the sadness I felt;

The brokenness and all of the guilt.
Past memories that I thought were gone;
They were buried under layers disguised in a fragrance so strong.
As onions peel more and more;
And they put tears in our eyes as we get close to the core;
So my Father wept over my pain;
Giving me a balm of comfort and strength to sustain.

“No More Layers.” I would scream.

As He continued to peel them off of me.
“I’ll have nothing left my Lord, what will I do?
I’ll be nothing but a worthless core to you. “

But He just said “Trust me,” and continued to peel

I was sure He was blinded to my pain that was so real.
Year after year I shrunk more and more;
Until all that was left of this onion was a core.

It was then that I began to understand;

As the Lord embraced me in His loving hand.
He said, now and only now can you be;
The creation that will minister before me.

Clothed with the righteousness only from above;

Gone are your layers of self so you can be filled with my love.
He took my layers of sin, hurt and pain;
And clothed me with love, truth and mercy in His name.

Yes, we are all onions, learning with each day;

How to overcome as each layer is taken away.
Some layers tear and pull at our heart;
While others grieve us to our innermost part.

But we are nothing but an ugly onion without Christ.

Layers upon layers of pride, sin and strife.
Only God can take those layers away.
And clothe us with His righteousness in that final day.

Beatitudes Of Marriage
By Georgy ------ 1932 views

Blessed are the husband and wife who continue to be affectionate, considerate, and loving after the
wedding bells have ceased ringing.

Blessed are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their
friends.

Blessed are they who love their mates more than any other person in the world, and who joyfully fulfill
their marriage vow of a lifetime of fidelity and mutual helpfulness to one another.

Blessed are they who attain parenthood, for children are a heritage of the Lord.

Blessed are they who remember to thank God for their food before they partake of it, and who set
apart some time each day for the reading of the Bible and for prayer.

Blessed are those mates who never speak loudly to one another, and who make their home a place
“where seldom is heard a discouraging word.”

Blessed are the husband and wife who faithfully attend the worship service of the church, and who
work together in the church for the advancement of Christ’s kingdom.

Blessed are the husband and wife who can work out the problems of adjustment without interference
from relatives.

Blessed is the couple which has complete understanding about financial matters, and have worked out
a perfect partnership, with all money under the control of both.

Blessed are the husband and wife who humbly dedicate their lives and their homes to Christ, and who
practice the teachings of Christ in the home by being unselfish, loyal and loving.
