Daily Writing #5

An inspirational place that I came across when I was younger was Cameron Indoor Stadium.
This place is where the Duke Blue Devils play basketball. I have always loved to play basketball
and Duke was my favorite school to cheer for. I would watch all their games and the stadium
was beautiful. Every time I stepped foot in this stadium, it gave me the inspiration to be the best
basketball player that I can be to possibly reach this level of skill in the future. Another
inspirational place that comes to mind when I think about my status today as a student
today are mountains. I have been on numerous vacations to the mountains in North
Carolina and I have had some of the most fun I have ever had. The main reason why it was
so fun was because every time I was on a mountain and looked down towards the bottom, it
made me feel as if I was the king of the world. This view motivated me to do whatever it
took to become the best at what I do and do whatever it takes to “make it to the top”.
