What is a noun? A noun is a name of person, place, object and


animal
Okay, Splendid!

Look at the dialog again. Let us read all the


underlined words in the dialog.

On the chart, nouns classified as common and


proper nouns.

Common nouns, are general names of persons,


places, objects and animals. They begin with a
small letters.

While proper nouns, are specific names of


persons,places,objects and animals. They usually
begin with capital letters.

Let’s read them. Rica, milk, fruit, pet dog, books,parks, movie
stars.
