Article Title : Teachers’ Perception On The Relationships Between Transformational


Leadership And School Culture In Primary Cluster Schools by Jeyasushma Veeriah1 ,
Chua Yan Piaw1 (PhD), Siaw Yan Li1 (PhD), Kazi Enamul Hoque2 (PhD)

TITLE

Title of study is the first introduction about this study for the readers. So, the
researcher should choose the title that really can grab attention of readers. The title of
the study is clear for the leaders and straight to the point. It is short and easy to
understand. Besides this, the title also concise but informative. Furthermore, the title
contains the important aspects of the research. Hence, it is easily to attract attentions
from the readers if it is an effective title.

ABSTRACT

The abstract should consist of main purpose of study, research design used, samples,
data collection, data analysis process and main findings of this study. For this study,
research included all the components needed. The abstract contain enough
information about study and function as a summary of the content. So, it works like a
shortcut for readers and save their time. Most of the readers only read the abstract
before go deep the study. So a good abstract should be able to stand alone. Full
information in this abstract will let the readers know the most important points in this
study and encourage them to read the whole study.

KEYWORDS

There were four keywords chosen for this study. All the highlighted keywords are the
terms that much related and represent the content of this study. In addition, the
keywords chosen are very specific to the field of study. These four keywords are the
main keywords used throughout the study.

INTRODUCTION

The researcher introduced the topic of this study with the general information. Each
paragraph, there are at least two references used. However, some of the references
used are more than 10 years which is out-dated. While writing the introduction,
researcher should make sure references used are current, not more than 10 years old.
Background Study

For this part, researcher gave the general overview of this study. After that, researcher
provided the information background about this study in Malaysia context. For this,
researcher attached related research about this topic to let the readers understand more
about this study topic. All this information is important to the readers to get the
general scope of this study before go deep. Furthermore, the statement was proved by
evidence.

Problem Statement

For this part, research shared the previous researches which related to the research
topic. There are two references used by the researcher to support the problem
statement. From the previous researches researcher showed the gap on knowledge and
state it specifically. The problem created based on the references. However, it would
be better if the researcher address the research problem clear early in a paragraph.
Hence, the readers will be directed with the problem statement before the further
explanation. Problem statement is important to provide the context of this study and
generates the questions which the research wishes to answer through this study.

Research Objectives

The research objectives outlined clearly. Three of the research questions built based
on the title of the study. It highlight about the independent variable and dependent
variable. Population of this also stated. So, this part explained clearly about the goal
of this study.

Research Questions

There was no research questions outlined is this research. Research questions are
important as it is the basic data and arises from the purpose of this study. At the end
of study, research should be able answer and make conclusion based on the research
questions stated. Since there is no research question stated in this study, so research
conduct the research only based on the research objectives.

METHODOLOGY

Research Design

For research design, the research only mentioned the types of research approach. The
research dint present about the reason for chosen quantitative research. Besides that,
research also dints outlines the time frame in which data will be collected. It would be
better if the information provided to readers so that they know the duration for doing
the research.

Population and Sampling

The population of interest stated. For this study, it focuses on the teachers in primary
cluster schools in Selangor with total teacher population 2348 and only 331 teachers
were taken as sample. For sampling process, procedures for selecting the sample
should be stated, including justification for the sampling method. bias
Instrumentation

The instrument for the study was described clearly. In this study, there were three
parts in the questionnaire and relevant to the variables. First is about the demographic
of respondents. This part is very important as the information provided will let the
readers know more about the respondents that involved in this study. For second and
third part, research used adaptation to develop the questionnaire. Research mentioned
clearly about the resource of the questionnaire. In addition, research also provided the
likert scale used in the questionnaire. However, research dint stated the validity and
reliability information about the questionnaire used in the study. Furthermore, it also
dint mentioned total questions for each part of questionnaire. The readers sure will
curious about the numbers of question in this questionnaire. It will be prefer if the
research state the total of question for each part in this questionnaire.

Data Collection and Analysis

Data collection procedures stated clearly by the researcher. In this part, researcher
showed the procedures of collecting data step by step. From the paragraph, readers
can know the way of contributing the questionnaire to the respondents and the format
of data collection. With the clear information, there will be no any blind spot about
the procedures for the readers. For the data analysis, researcher introduced the data
analysis method which is using the SPSS. This method is easier compare to the
manual method in order to analysis the data for this study.

RESULTS AND FINDINGS

For this part, researcher used the subheadings to separate the results of this study. The
results and findings organised based on the research objectives. In this study,
researcher included the statistical findings in the text. To make the questionnaire
survey results were clearly presented, researcher used the tables to make it clear.
Tables are a concise and effective way to present large amounts of data. All the tables
were labelled clearly and appropriately used. In addition, the researcher dints re-state
much of the data from a table in the text. Researcher only used the text to summarize
the data from the table with one or two of the most important points. Moreover, all the
results were arranged according to the research objectives. Readers can easily to
understand every single research objectives based on the tables and description. In
this part, researcher also dint interpret the results or discuss their implications.

DISCUSSION

For discussion part, it should be able to answer all the research questions. In this
section, research was interpreted the results of this study. Research discussed the
conclusions accordingly, which is from the most important to least important. In
addition, the researcher also compared the result of this study with other researcher
which is related to it. However, it would be better if the research share about the
limitations of this study. Hence, the readers will be more alert if they are doing the
related topic in the further study. Besides that, researcher also can suggest some of the
further study related to the topic based on the result.
CONCLUSION

The conclusion was clearly presented by the researcher. Besides, it also followed
logically from the results of this study. At the end of conclusion part, researcher stated
the main conclusion once again.

REFERENCE LIST

In scientific journals, all statements must be supported with evidence. All the
evidence comes with the resources. In the reference list, all the sources which have an
in-text citation in the body of this study were listing in the references. Each reference
was written according to APA requirement, which consist of author’s name,
publication year, title, source name written in Italics and the number of page.
Moreover, the reference list for this study fulfilled the hanging indentation
requirement. All lines of text after the first line of text indented one and half inch
from the left margin. In addition, researcher also arranged the references according to
ascending alphabets. This is easier for readers to find out the references based on the
alphabets.
