Mega Health Camp for Village Rajpura at PHC Masani

Brief Description:

Team Khushii is committed towards its goal of Community Development and supporting for improvement in
healthcare facility. On same lines Team Khushii has organised a “Mega Health Camp” for community people of
Village Rajpura (Alamgir), Rewari at PHC Masani on 02.05.2019. Villagers utilized the benefits of Health Camp
and got medical consultation and medicines for the health issues diagnosed during the check-up. CMO and
Deputy CMO Rewari were present during the Health Camp.

Planning and Arrangements:

Proper planning was carried out for conducting this Health Camp for community people of Rajpura.
Required approval was taken from Medical In-charge of PHC Masani and from CMO Rewari.
Adequate communication was done for reaching out to maximum community people so that they can
get benefitted.
For smooth movement and conveyance, Team Khushii has arranged a comfortable bus for
transportation from village to PHC Masani and dropping back to village
Proper Water arrangements were also made to cater the scorching heat.

Resources for Health Camp:

 CMO Dr. Krishan Kumar and Deputy CMO Dr. Vijay Prakash spared their valuable time and were
present during the Health Camp at PHC.
 Medical Staff of PHC Masani was available for all the support including Medical Check, Seating
arrangement etc. Dr. Preeti, Dr. Chetna, Staff Nurse Anju and other paramedic staff extended their
services to villagers during this health camp.
 Transportation facility was provided by Team Khushii
 Medicines were arranged by PHC Masani
Beneficiaries:

Khushii has reached out to all villagers to get benefitted from this special health camp which was organised
exclusively for residents of Rajpura village. Total 130 people reached for Health Camp out of which 126 people
were diagnosed with general health issues like Fever, Cough and Cold and Diseases associated with Skin and
Eyes. Doctors have given proper consultation and medicines to all the patients pertaining to their specific
disease.

 CMO Dr. Krishan Kumar appreciated the efforts made by Team Khushii. He said that generally very less
people are attending such camps, but this number of patients was good. He committed us for 2 things which
are as followed:
 The 4 cases of cataract will be operated at Civil Hospital Rewari and Good Quality of Lenses will be
provided Free of Cost.
 For analysing the reason for skin diseases, he will send a team of specialist doctors in Rajpura Village.
 Community People were so happy and said nobody has made such arrangements for them for Health
Check-up. Few old ladies visited PHC first time, hey thanked Khushii for this.
