Cayetano attests to Go's commitment to serve
THE Cayetiano clan of Taguig City
threw their full support behind the
candidacyof former special assistant
to the President (SAP) and Senate as-
pirantChristopherlawrence "Bong"
Co during a meeting oflocal leaders
and a campaign rally in l,ower Bicu-
tan over the weekend

the city's leaders, Alan Peter said
if they support Go and he would
win as senator, they would have
opened the door ofopportunity to
their children who may someday
follow the footsteps ofthe former
SAP and become a leader and
public servant.
He noted that current conven-
tional wisdom says only those
who are either famous and rich,
like show business personalities
and children of political dynas-
ties were ilected for national
positions, but with Go's election,
it wouldlrove that voters yalue
hardwork and loyalty in choosing
their candidates.

an extensive reform agenda but
unless laws are enacted,

Bong Go," Cayetano said.
Co thanled Cayerano and the city
residents for their suppo4 as he also
assured them of his full commit-
ment to support the programs and
policies of Duterte.
He said he would push improved
benefits and expanded protection
for barangay officials, noting they
are-:t tht forefront of delivery of
goYemment seryices.
The former SAP added he would
look into the possibility of extend-
ing the term of incumbent village
officials, noting their term of office
was cut short due to the previous
postponemenr of barangay elec-
tions
Go said among his top
p odties is the improve-
ment of the delivery of
health services in the

country by upgrading the facilities
and equipment of public hospitals
through the establishment of Mala-
sakit Cent€$ nationwide as well as
support programs that would usher
more progress and development in
Taguig and nearby areas.
He cited the BGC-Ortigas Link
Plal that would connect Sta. Monica
Street in Pasig to Lawton Avenue
in Makati, and a fourlane viaduct
trayersing Lawton Avenue to the
entrance of Bonifacio Global City.
Ir addition, Go said the city
stands to benefit from the South-
east Metro Manila Expressway
in Taguig to Batasan Complex in
Quezon.City and rhe Metro Manila
SubwayProlect, which would sewe
as a North-South rail backbone
for connecting Metro Manila and
the nearby provinces of Cavite,
Bulacan and Laguna.
