We are currently working on a plan for an
earlier drop off (8:00 AM) and a later pick up
(4:00 PM) for Day Camp. In order to make
this happen, we will be needing volunteers for
games and activities during this extra time.
Please let us know if you would be willing to be
a helper or supervisor for either Day Camp
and/or before or after times.
LECTIO DIVINA
In Christianity, Lectio Divina (Latin for
"Divine Reading") is a traditional Benedictine
practice of scriptural reading, meditation and
prayer intended to promote communion with
God and to increase the knowledge of God's
word. It does not treat scripture as texts to
be studied, but as the living word. Each
month on the last Wednesday, we gather in
the Prayer Room at 5:30 pm for Lectio
Divina led by Maureen Bivens. We welcome
everyone to join us and invite you to come
as you can. We are usually together for an
hour. This is a calming and contemplative
way to end a day!
