The completed registration form will be kept in a locked filling cabinet and backed up on password protected computers for the
period specified by the Chard Baptist Church Data Protection Policy (copies available if requested). Under Data Protection
legislation, the church secretary of Chard Baptist Church acts as the Data Controller and can be contacted by ringing 01460 65904
or emailing admin@chardbaptist.org.uk. The completed consent forms will be taken to each session of the Holiday Club to make
sure the relevant information is always available.
We are collecting this information to ensure that the Holiday Club is organised in a responsible manner adhering all safeguarding
policies. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the group’s legitimate interest.
The information you have shared will NOT be disclosed to anyone else without your consent.
You have the right to ask to see any information we hold about you by submitting a ‘Subject Access Request’ to the Church
Secretary, who acts as the Data Controller. You also have the right to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be
rectified.
If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled, please speak to our Data Controller. If you are still unhappy
you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
