 Assalamualaikum, Hello my name is Bagus from 9.5 . big thanks to Allah who
let me to do this task properly. One that I don’t forget is thanks to my teacher
who gave me this task so I can learn much from this task. Okay today I would like
to do short speech, so lets get start.

EFFECTS OF FULL DAY SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS

Mr. Muhadjir Effendy as Education Minister has brough t the Full Day
School for elementary and junior high levels.. I am sure many of you would like to
ask a few things related to it, such as the concept of full day school system
whether children will be required to learn all the time at school? What will the
burden of subjects taught many times more than before? And other questions.

Well, here is an explanation Why does new Minister of Education create Full Day
School:

1. What is meant by full day school is granting an additional hour. These extra
hours students are no longer dealing with a boring subject. Activities undertaken
after the completion of teaching that is expected to instill character values on
students like discipline, honesty, patriotism and tolerance.

Positive Impact / Advantages Full Day School

1. Giving children the opportunity to gather with their friends better

With the full day school system, students will get to know their friends and even
potentially find friends with the same hobbies so motivated to embody the spirit of
the same hobbies such a proud achievement.

2. Accommodating the talents and interests of students early through the

extracurricular program
Additional programs that exist in this system can channel the talents and interests
of students early on. Moreover, the additional coaching from coach can help
students who do not know their talent to find talent.
Negative Impact of Full Day School

1. less family time

Five days a week the students should be in school almost all day. When we got
home, the possibility of getting late. And they will rest and sleep. interaction
between children and parents to be reduced and this leads to the relationship
between parent and child is less close.

2. Social interaction with relatives or peers outside of school to be minimal

The amount of time they spend in school makes social interaction with family,
relatives or friends outside of school is becoming less. Their conditions were
already tired after returning from school will make them reluctant to socialize with
their peers around their home.

Well those are some of the impact of full day school of positive and negative sides.
Full Day school has a lot of positive impact if the preparation is done carefully. If
the preparation is less mature, it actually makes students saturated and learning in
schools are not optimal.
