My teacher leadership project I am going to focus on a lesson based on technology and it
will presented as a powerpoint during my History departments PLC meeting. We have
five teachers in our department and it takes place every Wednesday morning. I will
demonstrate and describe the uses of an online website known as Quizziz. This program
helps students of all levels in there instruction by creating a fun, interactive way to
review or introduce material. The product that will result from this teacher leadership
project is a powerpoint/ google slides that describes and demonstrates the resources
and benefits of the website Quizizz. I plan to execute this project by the end of March
during a department PLC meeting.
I will analyze the effectiveness of this project and my teacher leadership role by have
my department colleagues take a survey on google forms, then discuss the questions/
survey with them in our next PLC meeting.

 The assessment data through the google forms showed that overall the presentation was successful in getting
my colleagues to see the benefits of quizizz.com. They agreed that this could be a great assessment tool
either before a lesson or after. They however would like to know more about how students can actively take
part in creating their own assessments through this website.
