Start at the top left corner where it says “S" and count over 8 blocks to the right. 2. Draw a line down from there and count down 10 blocks 3. Put a dot 4, Draw a horizontal line across that goes 8 blocks to the right of the dot. 5. Draw another horizontal line across that goes 8 blocks to the left of the dot. (Your total horizontal line should have gone 16 blocks from left to right through the dot.) 6. Start at the dot again. Draw a vertical line that goes up 10 blocks. 7. Draw another vertical line that goes down 10 blocks that runs through the dot.(Your total vertical line should have gone 20 blocks from top to bottom through the dot.) 8. Label your dot (0,0). This is called the origin. 9. Label the right arrow x-axis. 10. Label the top arrow y-axis.
