1. Course Title : Magnetic Resonance Imaging


2. Course Code : RT 304
3. Course Description: Study of principles involved in a diagnostic imaging modality that produces cross-sectional, trans-axial, coronal and sagittal images
of the human body with the use of radiofrequency and magnetic field.
4. Course Credit : 3 Units Lecture; (54hrs)
5. Placement : 2nd semester
6. Pre-requisite : Anatomy and Physiology
Radiologic Physics, Equipment and Maintenance II
Radiographic Technique and Film Processing/Analysis II

7. Program Outcomes :
 Apply scientific, knowledge, technical skills and the proper work attitude and values necessary for the practice of Radiologic Technology.

8. Level Outcomes: After completion of the third year level, the learners will apply the knowledge on the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging by utilizing
MRI physics and techniques providing safety environment with the clients utilizing patient-focused approach.

 Hospital : The learners will have an orientation in an affiliated CHED-accredited health facility. Learners will observe protocols and work environment
with supervision of clinical instructions and a professional radiologic technologist.
