Dear Athirah,

My school is organising and English Language Carnival next month and I will be
participating in the story- telling competition. This competition will be a good platform to
brush my speaking skills and confidence. The winner will also get a storybooks,

she was alone when suddenly two thieves appeared from nowhere.
One of them immediately grabbed her handbag and gold chain. Adeline tried to
fight when the other man took out a knife and threatened to hurt her. She was scared
and screamed as loudly as she could. The thieves panicked and started to run off.

Question 2

Yesterday afternoon, Sara and her friends were walking home after school. As
they were passing a tall tree, they heard a cat purring. They looked around and found a
cat on a branch of a tree.
It was too high for the girls to reach the helpless cat. The girls felt sorry for the
poor animal. Sara went to the nearest telephone booth and called for help.
Soon, a fireman arrived. He climbed up the ladder and brought the cat down. The
