MONTH ACTIVITIES

JANUARY

1 New Year’s Celebration

16-25 Annual vacation of Mr. Mark Arlu Artillo. (second half)
17-21 Annual vacation of Mr. Arild Julius Sadava. (first half)

FEBRUARY
7 Ms. Cynara Jane Patoc started her specilaization training.

MARCH
1 Ms. Cynara Jane Patoc was hired as casual nurse.
4 Ms. Ronlene Joy Singson was transferred to Operating Room (OR)
Department.
5-8 Mr. Erik Vincent Sumayo attended seminar on Infectious Control
Practices and Policies.
22-24 IMH conducted a 3 Day IV Therapy Refresher course attended by
Mrs. Mary Ann Salcedo, Ms. Herianne Adelle Marie Matta, Ms.
Gretchen Zoe Centeno and Ms. JG Marie Navigar respectively.
APRIL
1 Ms. Jennifer Pamucino tendered her resignation.
11-27 Annual vacation of Mrs. Marife Magsipoc. (second half)
23-26 Three nurses attended the seminar on Lactation Management,
they were Mrs. Annabelle Jaruda, Ms. Krizza Mae Salmorin and
Ms. Cynara Jane Patoc.
22 Ms. Juvy Ann Diono, Ms. Reyshelle Joy Lebuna and Ms. Marinel
Jane Palermo started their specialization training.
MAY
1-15 Annual vacation of Mrs. Mary Ann Salcedo (first half). Mrs. Marife
Magsipoc took over as Officer in Charge for the meantime.
 1 Mrs. Annabelle Jaruda and Ms. Krizza Mae Salmorin were
promoted as probationary nurse.
1-5 Annual vacation of Mrs. Judy Tubato.
15-22 Annual vacation of Mrs. Herminia Azarcon.

JUNE
1 Mr. Erik Vincent Sumayo was promoted and was transferred as
Infectious Control Nurse.
2 Ms. Juvy Ann Diono, Ms. Reyshelle Joy Lebuna and Ms. Marinel
Jane Palermo were hired as casual nurse.
1 Mrs. Herminia Azarcon was transferred at OPD-ER Department.
Mrs. Cristina Castro came in as replacement.

JULY
6-10 Annual vacation of Mr. Arild Julius Sadava. (second half)
16-20 Annual vacation of Ms. JG Marie Navigar. (first half)

19 General orientation on Hospital Emergency and Integrated
Command System (HEICS)
20 Hospital wide fire drill.

AUGUST
1 5th PNA Regional Convention with theme, “Filipino Nurses: A
Voice to lead Health in a Human Right” held at Iloilo Convention
Center.
1-10 Annual vacation of Mrs. Evelyn Berja.
12-25 Second half of annual vacation of Mrs. Mary Ann Salcedo. Mrs.
Marife Magsipoc took over as OIC in the meantime.
21-31 Annual vacation of Ms. JG Marie Navigar.
23-31 Annual vacation of Ms. Gretchen Zoe Centeno.
30 IMH conducted a seminar entitled “Be happy… Stress
Away”.Professor Evelyn Alloba as resource speaker .
31 Seminar on “Data Privacy Act of 2012/ R.A. 10173: Awareness
and Update”. Atty. Robert P. Villanueva as speaker.
SEPTEMBER
1 Effectivity of resignation of Ms. JG Marie Navigar.
Ms. Anna Labanghisa was transferred to CB2 department. Ms.
Marie Ann Gamlanga came in as replacement.
Ms. Cynara Jane Patoc was promoted as probationary nurse.
22-30 Annual vacation of Ms. Febe Joy Ariente. (second half)
26 Seminar on HIV Awareness.

OCTOBER
2-10 Annual vacation of Mr. Eleazar Galanto. (second half)

NOVEMBER
1 Mrs. Annabelle Jaruda and Ms. Krizza Salmorin were promoted
as probationary nurse.
1-10 Annual vacation of Ms. Marife Magsipoc. (first half)
28-29 Mrs. Mary Ann Salcedo attended the International Nursing
Conference on Translational Research: Technology, Caring and
Innovations in Nursing.
28 General Orientation on Hospital Emergency and Integrated
Command System (HEICS).
29 Hospital wide fire drill under supervision of Bureau of Fire.

DECEMBER
11 Nursing Service Department Grand Christmas Party held at District
21 Hotel.
13 Department G Annual Christmas Party held at Sea Garden Resort.
 SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Continuous repair and repainting of rooms.

2. Construction of medication/ chemotherapy cubicle.
3. Retiling of defective floorings
4. Purchase of new overhead tables, bedside tables and hospital beds.
5. Installation of water dispenser to every patient’s room.
6. Realignment of aircon room G8 and G9 and to provide proper exhaust.
7. Renovation of all comfort rooms.
8. Installation of appropriate ceiling fans.
9. Proper ventilation at nurse’s station.
10. Provide trainings and seminars to further enhance knowledge and skills and upgrade
professional competencies of all hospital employees.
