Time Procedures Followed DOK Resources

BEFORE (Do Now):
10/22/18 Monday: Students begin working on warm-up requiring them to 7.RP.2 Math Textbook
identify proportional and nonproportional graphs and 7.RP.2a Online
charts. Resources

10/23/18 Tuesday: Students begin working on warm-up requiring them to

graph a relationship given a chart and state whether or
not it is proportional.

10/24/18 Wednesday: Students begin working on warm-up requiring them to

make a chart given a word problem and state whether or
not the relationship is proportional.

10/25/18 Thursday: Students begin working on warm-up requiring them to

create two graphs given two charts. They will have to
state which one is proportional and why.

10/26/18 Friday: Students will begin working on a warm-up requiring them

to write several ratios. Students will turn in the
completed weekly warm-up packet.
DURING (Body of Lesson):
10/22/18 Monday: Students are introduced to the process of solving a 7.RP.2
proportion. Students write vocabulary. Several examples
are done. Students are involved by answering questions 7.RP.2b
throughout the lesson.

basic proportions through a graded worksheet. 7.RP.3

10/24/18 Wednesday: Students will use individual white boards to learn

proportions involving the distributive property. Several
examples will be done in class. Students will work on a
few with a partner and show their answers when they
have completed the task.

10/25/18 Thursday: Students will practice their skills of solving proportions by

solving proportions on individual white boards. Several
students will be brought to the board to solve and explain
the problem.
10/26/18 Friday: Students will practice their skills of solving proportions
through word problems. Students will highlight key
information in the word problem.
