B. Lesson Presentation
1. Motivation
Sentence Charades
The students will be grouped into four. Each group will have one
representative per number. The representative will pick a sentence and then act it
out. Within 30 seconds, his group mates will try to guess the phrase. If they cannot
answer it, the other groups can steal and answer.

2. Presentation of the Lesson

The teacher reviews the sentences guessed by the students during the game
and ask them what they have observed with the sentences.
3. Lesson Proper
The teacher discusses the lesson.
4. Application
Ring the Bell
With the same group, the students will play Ring the Bell. There will be one
representative from the group in every number. The representatives will stand face
to face with each other with the bell at the center. They will place their right hand on
their chest while the quiz master reads the question. There will be two categories:
Identify Me in which they are going to identify what tense the verb is and Transform
Me in which they are going to transform the verb into its past and future tense. When
the quiz master signals “1,2,3, ring the bell!”, that’s the time they will race in ringing
the bell. Whoever rings the bell first and answers correctly will get the allotted points
and will have the power to choose the category and the corresponding points.

5. Valuing
What do you think is the message of tenses in our lives?
How will you prepare yourself for the future?
6. Generalization
What have you learned in our lesson today?
IV. EVALUATION
Use Me
The teacher will give a verb and the students will construct a sentence using its past
and future tense. This will be written in a one half sheet of paper.

V. ASSIGNMENT
The students will make an essay about how they see their selves in the future, 10
years from now. Do not forget to use the proper verb tenses. This will be written in a
one whole sheet of paper.
