Good access to necessary parts is invaluable for en-
suring service life over time. We ensure the opera-
tion of our devices by keeping relevant spare parts
updated and available.

• Several upgrade or maintenance kits
Kit boxes for preventive maintenance of breakers
The kit box is tailored to your circuit breaker and is
refillable. It can be used during:
• Commissioning
• First aid kit throughout breaker service life
• Preventive maintenance when the breaker has
reached half its mechanical, electrical or expected
service life.
• Minimized logistics
Replacement circuit breakers
• We can adjust technical data to the replacement
circuit breaker.
• We have the old order documents from 1965 and
forward
• We can adapt the new circuit breaker to an existing
stand
• We offer modern circuit breakers with the latest
technology, CO2, DCB or WCB

Skills development
During the past year, we have invested in new, fresh
premises for both theoretical and practical training.
We train service personnel from all over the world,
especially for HV circuit breakers and their applications.
• Modern facilities in Ludvika, Sweden
(Commissioned in spring 2016)
• Most of the relevant circuit breaker types
• Most of the relevant operating mechanisms
• Controlled switching (Switchsync™, PWC600)
• SF6 -gas handling
Installation/commissioning
To minimize faults during installation and ensure safe
operation throughout product service life, we offer:
• Experienced staff
• Global access to ABB’s service engineers
• Certification for gas handling, for example
• Calibrated test equipment
• Option of extended warranty if ABB certified per-
sonnel performs installation/commissioning.
Workshop for assembly, repairs and upgrades
In our new workshop with modern tools, certified
personnel and calibrated test equipment we can
work with, for example:
• Breaker poles and operating mechanisms
(Preferably of SF6 type)
• Assembly of disconnecting circuit breakers - DCB
• Assembly of spare parts
