MBA Healthcare Innovation Applicant Questionnaire

Thank you for applying to the MBA Healthcare Innovation program. In order to effectively process
your application, we would like to learn more about your interest in the program. Please reply to the
following questions (150-250 words each):

1. Why did you decide to apply specifically to this program?

I'm applying to this program specifically because it is the best market, ecosystem and real-world
oriented pathway to getting to where I want to go. Nowhere else in Israel is there a program that
provides real-world experience, access to experts from the field, as well as a firm academic background
that isn't outdated in the field, and as a bonus it is a one-year program. My goal is to better be able to
take a medical or wellness product or commercial concept, and get it to fit in the medical world, be
accepted by clinicians, and profitable for all parties involved, most of all to the patient and his benefit.
Other programs are lacking in at least one, and often more, fields, take longer, and are likely to provide
little meaningful experience. Another concern is that this field is new and growing, and now is the best
time to innovate.

2. What are your expectations from the program (what specific knowledge and skills are you
interested in acquiring)?

As part of my work experience, leading projects such as requests for funding from the EU, developing
movement games and algorithms, presenting to investors and drafting policies, I have learned much on
the job. Much can be learned if you are minded to it and know to ask the right questions, and results
come with experience. That said, experience also taught me where my limits currently lie and what
questions I will need help answering, which I aim to learn to cope with better either as part of course-
work, by learning to work with the right people and bodies, and most of all by learning to learn better.
Teamwork, project guidance, financials, meeting regulatory requirements and working with a firm
understanding of them while meeting goals are just some of the skills I wish to improve upon. I believe
that this opportunity will connect me with the right people, and more importantly teach me to acquire
said contacts and needed skills in the future, to be able to keep up with the changing requirements and
landscape.

3. What makes you a good candidate for the program? And how is your work experience
relevant to the program?

My goal in my work and life is to do good. I became a physical therapist first and foremost to
become a person who can help people. The more I learned, and the more I saw, I grew convinced
the best place to do this is on a global scale rather than on the ground, by changing the systems
and landscape patients (people!) face. For me, patient-based care, access to informed choice,
and time and cost savings for patients and health systems are key. I am highly engaged in health
spaces to do with pain, and I believe the entire ecosystem is in need of a drastic overhaul to be
beneficial for patients and providers both, and that the private sector has the needed tools and
incentives to make this happen faster. My experience with data, healthcare, technology, patient
interaction and zeal for doing good make me quite suited for this program and career path. I've
walked on similar ground before in my current position, and have grown with it, and I'm
motivated to keep growing with the field and in fact drive the change.
