Ongoing issue with Brougham St and them throwing parties. Please contact caller to discuss as she is unsure if the
owner is aware of the issue
Refers to 2783083 and 2783133. Complainant is not happy with the Councils Noise Control Service. They said that upon
the first attendance of their complaint, being onsite for only 3 mins to do an assessment and then find no noise is not
acceptable. Then with their second complaint, being advised that they would be approx 45 mins after 10 mins of their job
being logged is not on, as she said that is past their 45 KPI response time to attend a complaint. She said that the noise
from the crane work their neighbour has paid for the crane operator to do is not on. The work was being done on Friday
evening and then again on a Sunday where the Council does not permit noisy work to be done, however their
neighbours, according to the complainant, has permission to do it. Caller wanted to stress that she has called the
Council 6 to 7 times this morning about the crane work being done today and it is not on. She wants an ENO to call her to
discuss this further during the week. She has said that if she is not available when shes called, and a voice mail is left,
she may likely call back during her own time and could be afterhours.

I would like some follow up from noise complaints I have been making about a house close by. Every weekend they are
having very loud parties. Each saturday night the party has started at 3.30pm and we have called numerous times until
midnight to have their equipment seized. I would like to know what the council are doing to make sure this does not
continue to happen.
