Welcome to Yemen, the Arab world’s Afghanistan where men wear their tribal

clothes and women are covered in black tents, where everything is evil and haram,
where basic human rights are violated and people’s personal lives are at the mercy
of extremists and fanatic groups who consider themselves the representatives of
God on earth.
Welcome to Yemen’s Taliban that is synonymous with human rights abuses,
brutality, misogyny, and terror; the so-called Department for the Promotion of Virtue
and Discouragement of Vice.
No place has been more synonymous with oppression of women in recent history
than Yemen and Afghanistan, and nowhere was the abuse more brutal than in these
two backward countries, the birthplaces of the country's Islamist militancy and
zealotry.
With every passing day, Yemen that is trapped in the dark ages is becoming
synonymous with militant Islam, breeding ground for terrorism, backwardness,
tribalism, barbarism, superstition, dark ages mentality, impiety, transgression and
decadence. Taliban became synonymous with human rights abuses, the so-called
Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Discouragement of Vice.
The Zindani moron and his religious hooligans are unsurprisingly silent and don’t
dare condemn the government's indifference and wrongdoings such as widespread
corruption, extortion by dishonest officials, kidnappings of tourists and children,
thriving terrorism, price hikes, violence against women, early marriages of little
girls, prominent individuals seizing land by force, businessmen eluding from settling
their taxes, rampant nepotism, a president and his ministers who think the national
budget is their own personal account, or other woes that have beset this miserable
and poorest country outside Africa. I have always said that Yemen is an attractive
ground for anything that is degenerate and rejected by any civilized and well
cultured society. While the source of all evil, the decadent and pedophile Saudis are
seriously curbing the activities of this organization as a part of their fight against
terrorism and religious fanaticism and militant Islam, Yemen has launched it; and
you still dare call Yemen, the land of wisdom and faith…
Anyway, I think it is high time we bid adieu to tourism and investment.

Enough of sugar-coating. Indeed, the Yemenis, the people of Wizra/Foota and Black
Tents have reached the abyss of the abyss and have become the butt of all jokes.
Seriously, what do you expect from a nation whose people report for duty; attend
conventions or seminars or conferences in black tents wizra or tribal clothes??? The
typical national dress of any decadent Taliban like society is black tents, wizra or
tribal clothes.

The establishment of a militant police force that is headed and consists of terrorists,
under the banner of promoting virtue and curbing vice, is a war on women and their
rights.
Any individual with an ounce of common sense, a rare commodity with qat chewing
and time squandering Yemenis, will acknowledge that the establishment of such a
commission is an infringement on the constitution and law. This means men will not
be able to go outside with their female relatives without having legal documents to
prove they are related and women will not be able to take a taxi, for instance,
without a male companion. This is utterly outrageous, contemptible and Taliban
Militant Islam.

The virtue commission and the various amendments currently being discussed are
driving Yemen further backwards into the dark barbarian ages and towards a
theocratic state.
It means abolishing democracy and the multiparty system, and pushing the country
into chaos and disorder, and civil war and its ultimate fragmentation and this will
subject it to foreign intervention under the pretext of curbing extremism and
terrorism.
I wish we had a commission that waged a war against illiteracy, extensive
corruption, extortion by dishonest officials, kidnappings of tourists and children,
thriving terrorism, violence against women, early marriages of little girls, prominent
individuals seizing land by force, businessmen eluding from settling their taxes,
rampant nepotism, a president and his ministers who think the national budget is
their own personal account, anarchy, widespread weapons, extensive plantation of
qat, a plant not even fit for animals, etc, etc, etc.

As aforementioned, I think it is high time we bid adieu to tourism and investment; I

am not surprised actually, nowadays, I rarely see any foreigner in Yemen.
Why should they come to a land that considers everything evil and haram?
Why should they come to a land that is a breeding ground for terrorism and militant
Islam???
Why should they come to a land that will repatriate them in their coffins???
Why should they come to a land that considers any woman who does not wear the
black tent a prostitute???
Why should they come to a land that is synonymous with barbarism and darkness
when they can visit resplendent nations such as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan,
Oman, Turkey, etc?

Now, please return to chewing your precious God granted days away while the rest
of the world is advancing, developing and progressing in every sphere.
