Difference between Certified Public Accountant and an Accountant

A Certified Public Accountant is a graduate of BSBA who acquired a license by taking and
passing the board exam. Has a higher position in a company and has 10 to 15 percent higher
income.

(Ang negative, may “just” tsaka “failed”. Gawin nating positive ung sentence para ma encourage
ang readers, hehe) While the accountant is just a graduate of accountancy course maybe failed in
a board exam of didn’t take it, lower income, in some companies they have a low position but in
some even you are not a CPA you can be promoted in a higher position base on your skills. If
you are promoted you income will get more high than the usual.
On the other hand, an accountant is also a graduate of BSBA who didn’t took the board exam. In
some companies, they may start from a lower position with a lower income. Some companies
have performanced based promotion, so even if you are not a CPA, you might gain a high
position with a higher income.

Cons’s are including the lost of social life, lost of time for the family and friends. In the work
itself it can test you as a person, your integrity, patience, hardwork, credibility and your time
