fast food restaurant chains provide fast and cheap food, the long term effects of obesity are
a result of the food.”In addition in paragraph 3 line 1 the text states “Fast food also

TASK 2: R.A.D.D. RESPONSE 2 (ACCOUNT 2): BASED ON THE EXCERPT FROM “GLOBAL JUNK FOOD”,
WHAT CAN WE INFER ABOUT THE FAST FOOD INDUSTRY AROUND THE WORLD?

The fast food industry exploits countries that don't have good regulations .In the documentary it
showed how Dominous put fake cheese into their products to keep costs down. In addition the
documentary also shows that in india nuggets has 6.1 saturated fat which causes high levels of
obesity meanwhile in france they have 2 grams where there are regulations.. This teaches me that
the fast food industry treats other country unfairly.

TASK 3: R.A.D.D. RESPONSE 3: (ACCOUNT 3): BASED ON THE CAPTIONS AND GRAPH IN “THE NEW

The message the author of "The NEW (AB)Normal is trying to convey is that fast food sizes have
been increasing over the years the image shows that a simple soda in the 1950 was 7oz now a soda
is 12 oz. furthermore bigger portions have had a effect on us this is stated in the text("And adults
are, on average, 26 pound heavier.")Lastly the author is trying to convey that fast food sizes have
been increasing and it could affect us.

TASK 4: R.A.D.D. RESPONSE 4: (ACCOUNT 4): BASED ON THE DETAILS PRESENTED IN ACCOUNT 4,
WHAT WOULD BE AN IDEAL TITLE FOR THE ARTICLE?

Fast food in moderation is a good title for this article because it reflects the central idea of
the passage. One detail to support my that my title reflects the central idea is in the subtitle in
the article “Quick Meals save you time”For example in paragraph 2 it shows “Fast food is
called that for a reason. it is fast. You can get a fast food meal through a drive-through
window in as little as one minute and usually doesn’t exceed five minutes. In addition fast
food saves us money for example in paragraph 3 it states “Having said that, home cooked
meals are a great way to eat to eat healthy with your family. But it can get very
costly.”Overall, this shows me that my title “Fast food moderation is good” relates to the
central idea.

R.I.6.2: I CAN DETERMINE THE CENTRA

Have you ever wondered whether or not you should eat fast food or should we eat
moderately? Was able to research multiple accounts about fast food and there affects. The two
accounts i found interesting were how fast food is dangerous and how eating fast food in
moderation is good.IN this Essay you will learn about how both accounts differ and my opinion.
In the danger of fast food the authors perspective of account 1 “The dangers of fast
food”Is that fast food is dangerous to our health. The author informs us about the long term
effects of eating fast food.In paragraph 2 line 1 it states “Although Fast food chains provide fast
and cheap food the long term effects of obesity are a result of the food”In addition in paragraph
3 line 1 it states “Fast food contributes to an unhealthy society that is plagued with high
cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease”The author purpose is to inform us about the long term
effects of fast food. This teaches me that eating fast food has negative long term effects.
However In account 4 “Fast food in moderation”.The author persuades us that eating
fast food in moderation is good In paragraph 2 line 1 “Fast food is Called that for a Reason. It is
fast. You can get a fast food meal through a drive through in as little as 1 minute and usually
doesn't exceed 5 minutes”Besides in paragraph 2 line 2 it states “Many Fast food restaurants
are in convenient locations such as malls and shopping centers”
In conclusion after reading both accounts. The authors showed different central ideas
position and views. In account 1 the central idea is that fast food is dangerous. However in
account 4 the central idea is that eating fast food moderately is good. Furthermore the author of
“fast food is dangerous”informs us about the long term effects fastfood. In the other hand the
author of “fast food in moderation is good”persuades us that eating fast food moderately is
good.i believe that eating fast food in moderation is good because if we don’t overeat we won’t
see any of those effects.
