Transcript Reflection Essay

Over the four years in High School, I have learned a lot of things and changed as

well. When I first started off High School I went to El Cap for most of the first two years of High

School and then close to the end of Sophmore year I decided to transfer schools to Merced High

since I moved houses. At the beginning of my High School years, my grades were pretty good

mostly all A’s and B’s very rare if I ever got a C. Once I started to move I was going through a

bad time with my grades and for one quarter my grades were the worst they have ever been. I

was upset with myself when I realized that my grades for that grading period were so bad. I

never had those types of grades during my whole High School years so at that moment I decided

that I would never give up or not try my best when it came to school no matter what. Since that

moment the next year, a fresh new beginning start at Merced High made everything so much

better. My junior year I had all A’s and sometimes a few B’s and the main thing I wanted when I

was a senior was to try to get all A’s as much as I can and that has been happening. So far I have

been happy with my grades for senior year. Since the beginning of senior year I have had a 4.00

or higher because of my Honors class. The lowest I have gotten for a GPA this year has been a

3.75 which is not bad but of course I would always like to aim for that 4.00 . Grades have always

been a big thing to me and my family, I have always overthought when it came to my grades.

When it comes to my transcript I think I am actually proud of what I have done over the years. I

have went through a up and down situation with my grades but never was it just a continuting

downfall. I believe that my transcript shows how much I have changed just by seeing the

difference in my grades. My grades are very important to me and my transcript is even more

important because it shows all throughout High School which is a very important thing to see.

Overall my reflection about my transcript is pretty good the only thing I wish I could change on

it would be the one downfall I had but that is okay it shows character. My transcript shows me

that I just need to continue to do the best I can and work hard all the way to the end.
