Coordinate with vendors and other discipline (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, civil &
architecture, and etc.) for instrument designs
Coordinate with Project Management, Planning, Construction & Procurement Departments
Participate in developing P&ID’s, HAZOP studies, SIL studies and reviews
Control and develop Instrumentation Engineering Documents including project execution plans,
standards, specifications, control narratives, loop drawings, logic drawings, etc.
Perform engineering procurement task including material requisition preparation, technical bid
evaluation, purchase order preparation, etc.
Perform sizing calculation, for control valves, safety & relief valves & orifices
Perform vendor print checks and approval (including mechanical package items – compressor,
heater, vessels, filters, pumps, etc.)

Responsible for updating site revised design data on the master drawing and issue “Field Change
Notice” (FCN) for the instruction of the revision work to the construction contractor
Responsible for checking the the construction material including field instrument when an
instrument and bulk material is delivered to site. The delivered material is to be checked with
Purchase Order (P.O.) and Vendor Print (VP).
Monitor the delivery date comparing with delivery schedule prepared by the Procurement group.
Also responsible to notify the delayed item to Procurement Manager if there is delayed item as
per schedule in order to expedite the delivery.
Responsible to prepare the vendor supervisor request according to the construction schedule and
actual progress. Items such as DCS, Analyzer, Compressor Package, Metering System, TMR,
and the like shall require to arrange the vendor supervisor. Ensure that the power supply and
utility lines are confirmed available before arranging the vendor supervisor at site.
Provide technical direction and guidance in all matters relative to interpretation of codes,
specifications, drawing, and special procedure.
Establish procedures and modify existing one pertaining to calibration, bench testing, and final
testing to ensure compliance with reference specifications.
Prepare Field Purchase Requisition for the additional required materials.
Assist and coordinate the Site Acceptance Test of of instruments and Package such as
Compressors, Analyzers, Machinery Protection Systems.
Facilitate the closure of the “Non-Conformance Report” (NCR) issued by the client by issuing a
reply that will provide a solution.
