#AGAYGETAWAY – SITGES 2019

What do I need to know?

 The villa’s address is Calle de la Rosella, 12

 You access the villa through the main gate using code 1001
 The WiFi is EntreOlivos2019
 The villa does not come with a safe, and while we’ve been reassured that it’s a safe area (and
there is a code to enter through the gate), I’d advise not packing anything expensive
 For emergencies, ring 112
 Sara (who manages the villa) is available on +34 650298827
 We’re being given five sets of keys to the villa, so if you’re likely to want to be the first (or
last!) home and are happy to be a key holder, let Matt know
 Ryanair has introduced some absolutely savage new hand luggage rules – if you’re travelling
with them, make sure you’ve read what you can bring 

Whereabouts is the villa situated?

The villa is around ten minutes in a taxi from the main Sitges ‘strip’, and about the same distance from
the nearest shops.

It’s probably best to try and buy most of what you need during the same trip, in a group, to save on
taxi trips and money. If possible, you might also want to buy essentials (i.e. alcohol) in Barcelona, so
you don’t need to worry about heading out after arriving at the villa.

How do we get around?

 It costs €4 per person to take a train from Barcelona to Sitges
 From Sitges, it is around €15 for a taxi (this would be shared, not per person)
 Taxis direct from the airport cos around €65 for up to eight people
 You can visit taxisitges.com and download the App, which you can use to book and pay for
taxi rides in advance
 Alternatively, you can contact Taxi Ribes on +34 938964725 and +34635165479, or Taxi Sitges
on +34 938941329

Have the villa’s owners set any rules?

 Noise must be indoors – and minimal – between 22:00 and 08:00

 Check out is on Sunday at 10am
 Do not remove bed linen
 We will be charged €100 if the villa is left untidy, or if we check-out late
 Rubbish must be disposed of in the residential garbage areas
 Do not use the fireplace on the top floor
 No strangers back to the villa, please! This is as important for us as it is the owner, as there’s
so many of us sharing already, and it’s a safety risk for other people’s belongings

What else do we need to know about the villa?

 Heating is automated and is under the floors

 You can use the fireplace on the ground floor but not the one on the top floor
 Lights can be controlled with the white remote found pointing to the garage doors
 The jacuzzi is inside the pool seat, and can be activated using the buttons by the pool stairs
 Chill out lights in front of the pool can be activated on entering the villa from the main door
 BBQ chill out lights turn on up the stairs of the garden, on the wooden fence just to the right
side
 The BBQ lights are on the right side of the sink
 Power can be found in the room with a canopy bed (first floor, up the stairs) inside the closet
on the left-hand side

What facilities does the villa have?

 WiFi
 Towels
 Pool
 Shampoo
 Hair dryer
 Hangers
 Pillows, blankets and bedding
 AC
 Coffee maker
 Hot tub
 Microwave
 Oven
 Stove
What’s happening?

On Thursday, we’re booked for dinner at 20:30 on the terrace at Parrots Restaurant, but other than
that there’s no set activities.

There’s free entertainment in the Gay Village each night, including tribute acts (Cher, ABBA, Tina
Turner, Dolly Parton), Sitges homegrown drag (Comodin Show) and familiar faces from back home
(Drag With No Name, Danny Beard, Mary Mac).

You can download the free GaySitgesGuide App to find out more about what’s happening during
Pride week and what the choice of bars and clubs are.
