MARKETING PLAN

1. 1 Description of the Product

The school canteen is a great place to promote an enjoyment of healthy eating. For students who come
to the canteen regularly, the food purchased makes a significant contribution to their total food intake and
nutrition; therefore it makes sense to ensure the best food possible is available to enhance their ability to
learn and take the information presented to them in class.

CanTEENS is selling different products that can accommodate the wants and needs of the students.
The business offers a variety of products from food to drinks for the customers to have a wide selection to
choose from such as viands, school supplies, snacks, street foods, refreshments, soft drinks and different
products made by potato in the Science and Technology Education Center.

Viand entered English in the 15th century from Anglo-French (viande means "meat" even in modern
French), and it derives ultimately from Latin vivere, meaning "to live." Vivere is the ancestor of a number of
other lively and life-giving words in English, including victual, revive, survive, convivial, and
vivacious.Viands- a food that is very tasty to the tongue of the customers an item of food, a meat, seafood,
or vegetable dish that accompanies rice in a typical Filipino meal. This is a list of selected dishes found in
the CanTEENS such as Menudo, Vegetable Lumpia, Ginaling, Nilat-ang Baboy, Eggs such as Sunny Side
Up, boiled egg, omelet, and Fried Chicken, Chopsuey, Halang-Halang, Pinakbet, Bangui beans, and
Inun-unan.

. The Filipino word for ‘snack’ is meryenda, referring to something eaten between meals, in the
mid-morning or mid-afternoon. A snack is a portion of food, smaller than a regular meal, generally eaten
between meals. Snacks come in a variety of forms including packaged snack foods and other processed
foods, as well as items made from fresh ingredients at home. CanTEENS has a variety of snacks such as
sweets, and junk foods in order for the customers to choose. In sweets, it is divided into two types’ biscuits
and candies. For biscuits it contains fudge bar, knick knacks, presto, magic creams, nissin wafer, pillows,
and bingo. For candies and chocolates it contains bar nuts, chocomucho, chooey toffee, and judge candy.
CanTEENS also has a variety of junks foods such as martys, clover chips, tattoos, nova, mangjuan, piatos,
cracklings, rinbee, super crunch, chippy, and roller coaster.

A soft drink is a drink that typically contains carbonated water a sweetener, and a natural or artificial
flavoring. The sweetener may be sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, fruit juice, sugar substitutes (in the case
of diet drinks), or some combination of these. Soft drinks may also contain caffeine, colorings,
preservatives, and other. CanTEENS has a variety of drinks such as coke, sprite, royal, sparkle and most
especially water.
School supplies are an essential component to education, and this gift ensures that a child is equipped
for learning. Your gift will stock a child with all of the essentials needed for their daily work in the classroom.
CanTEENS also has a variety of school supplies such as ballpen, intermediate paper, cartolina, white
board marker, chalk, glue, band aid, and floorwax.
