INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Internship Proposal

I. Internship Proposed: A project work for 3 months in HDFC bank and project title
“Digitalization”.

II. Description of internship in brief: To understand the concept, features and evolution
of digitalization in Banking sector understand the concept of different product of Bank like
different types of account (saving max, women, salary, current, etc). Understand the concept of
digitalization in Bank. To know the various platform of e-banking provide by HDFC
Bank and services to the customer (net banking, payzapp, mobile banking, sms
banking, digital, wallet, etc). To aware the customer about e-banking and divert the
customer from traditional banking to e-banking. Telling them advantage and benefit of
e-banking to the customer.

III. Objective of the Internship:


 To understand the concept, features and evolution of digitalization in banking
sector.
 Develop and improve customer relationship management. To identify various e-
Banking services offered by HDFC Bank. To aware the customers about various
e-Banking services offered by HDFC Bank (net banking, payzapp, mobile
banking, etc).
 To enhance my learning by direct exposure to corporate world.
 To know about Bank and its work culture.

IV. Methodology
 Primary source: Data collected directly by interviewing the customers of the
bank, then through questionnaires and surveys and also through observation
with the company guide {Branch Manager of HDFC Bank}.
 Secondary source: secondary data is collected that is already available on the
internet, in a company’s record and in the journals.

V. Schedule:
25th feb – 24th may 2019

VI. Limitations of the Study:


 The project is carried out in gurgaon so the entire analysis is based on the
information, data and customer response that were accumulated there.
 The duration for the project was 3 months, so the data collected and the analysis
made thereof is not comprehensive.
 The customers were unwilling to answer the questionnaires based on banks,
HDFC Bank and digital Banking.
