One characteristic of a physically literate person is having the motor skills and movement patterns to
participate in a variety of physical activities. The activities in this session will allow you to explore your
physical literacy based on a number of self-assessments, drills, and challenges.
Instructions
1. Following each activity station, take a minute to do the following:
a. Indicate your rating of perceived exertion (RPE) for the activity.
b. Indicate your feelings about the activity using the scale provided (circle one of the faces).
c. If possible, record a rating on the activity based on your score.
2. At the end of class you will be given time to answer the reflection questions.

Reflection Questions
1. What was (were) your favorite station(s)? Why?
The wall toss was my favorite stattion because it involved the most hand-
eye coordination. It was not super exhausting but still required LOTS of concentration to do w
ell. I could have kept doing that station for a long time because it was super fun.
4. Describe how your activity choices match your strengths and weaknesses on these movement
skills.
I tended to choose activities that matched my strengths. Hand-
eye coordination activities were my favorite, as well as speed and running activities.
5. On a scale from 1 to 10,* where are you with these movement skills for physical literacy?

Because I was rarely in the "poor" section of the fitness ratings, and I was able to complete all
of the activities with little effort.
