Each PICO establishes connection with the PSeGW through the IPSec tunnel.
The security gateway must support the IPSec IKEv2 standard.
The PseGW and SeGW are logical concepts. They can be deployed on the same gateway.

Major Challenges:
The last mile – which is internet in the proposed solution presents two significant challenges:
• Bearer should adhere to the QoS requirements to assure end user satisfaction and experience.
• Should guarantee ~260kbit/s during CS busy hours to support AMR/EFR 12.2kbit/s channels for
100% utilization (subject to radio conditions).
• To support high speed data channels (all MSC9) the bearer should provide a B/W of 800kbit/s.
• Security and authentication must be assured to the maximum degree.
Way Forward:
• A thorough trial can be initiated as per the proposal to validate the product/solution.
• It will also give a valuable insight on the business case and its feasibility.
