Recent years, the Chilean educational plan has been modified according to current

society demands. One of this modification is to eliminate the selection process now
to register a student into a certain educational organization that covers the
interests of the family, likewise, watching the non-discrimination of the student
under any context.
With this intention, I will proceed to explain the reason why a single gender school
should not receive government funds to function.
At the present time, with the proclamation of the Act 20.845 in 2015, the
possessors of the educational organizations previously constituted as a Non-
profit legal entity, will be able to get admittance to a State-Guaranteed Bank
credit which will be administrated by CORFO so that the government can make
sure that the funds are being invested properly with educational purposes
according to their IEP (Institutional Education Project), opposite to prior system in
which the possessor received the funds without a strict supervision of this capital.
In other words, nowadays, the possessor must appeal to this competitive fund and
finally gives renditions.

specific gender which goes against of this specific article which (and I am going to
cite) vouches for an “educational organization to be a place of students encounter
no matter their context; social, economic, cultural, ethnic, gender, nationality or
religion.” just like the Article 84.3 about admission of students from Spanish
Government's Organic Education Act.
Furthermore, I would like to mention, from Sustainable Development Goals of
United Nations, the fifth target of the goal 4 that says “By 2030, eliminate gender
disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education”
Eventually, under those circumstances, an educational organization which is not
aligned with the governmental objectives does not deserve the governmental
endorsement to achieve their own aims.
