Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Before the class, the teacher prepares a video/presentation about vehicles and their sounds, and ID cards that
include vehicles (car, train, airplane, bus, big truck, helicopter). There are two cards of each vehicle because
there are 12 children in the classroom. The cards are put into a bag so that the children can choose the
vehicles for drama.
Firstly, they watch the video that is about vehicles and sounds. While watching, the children are expected to
imitate the sounds of vehicles, and to act out according to its tone. For example, big truck is big, so its sound is
acted out with low pitches, and the bike is small, so its sound is acted out with high pitch. After that, each
child chooses a card from the bag. Then, the children hang the cards on their clothes with the help of the
teacher and are scattered to the four winds. At first, they imitate the sound of vehicle that is on the card on
their clothe with the teacher’s instruction. To illustrate, the teacher says, “Airplane!” and the children who
have the photo of the airplane imitate the sound of that vehicle. Then, the teacher shows the sign of “STOP!”
and the children are quiet, and the teacher continues. All the vehicles are done, the teacher adds movement.
When the teacher says a vehicle, they imitate the sound and walk around the classroom without colliding. At
the end, the teacher challenges the children by saying two vehicles, the three vehicles. It continues until the
children are bored. Then, the teacher starts to the assessment part.

*The concept video which is prepared by using the Powtoon is saved in a USB in order not to confront with an
internet connection problem. Moreover, the teacher downloads the sounds of the vehicles on her/his phone
in case of an electricity problem.
**The Google Form is prepared to be filled at home, and it can be filled later in case of electricity or internet
connection problem.
